Welcome to End of Rope Loop KnotsThis page shows a selection of the knots commonly used to make loops at the end of a Line. Four of the knots are primarily used in fishing: Australian Braid, Bimini Twist, Perfection Loop, and the Surgeon's Loop. The other knots and splices are intended for rope. However, the Long Bury, and the McDonald Brummel are only suitable for Hollow-Braid rope. More details are shown on the End of Rope Loops Usage page. Disclaimer: Any activity that involves ropes is potentially hazardous. Lives may be at risk - possibly your own.
